Our Guidelines
We cultivate long-term partnerships in the out-of-home market by consistently generating added value for the gastronomy sector and guests through products and innovations. The continuous, international expansion of our business and a broad customer spectrum form the foundation for sustainable economic development.
We combine transparent and market-oriented pricing based on raw material trends with consistently high quality. Throughout the entire value chain, we collaborate with partners who share our sustainable philosophy.
Innovations
A future-oriented portfolio tailored to the changing needs of customers is indispensable for the long-term success of SALOMON FoodWorld. The growing health awareness among younger generations and the increasing consideration of climate protection and animal welfare are leading to a significantly higher share of vegetarian and vegan diets in the long term.
Our goal: Develop our product range to include more than 35% vegetarian/vegan items.

No Foodwaste
We avoid food waste wherever possible.
- To minimize food waste, we regularly adjust our production volumes to meet demand.
- For selected products, we can grant shelf-life extensions (MHD) if needed.
- Returned goods are inspected by our Quality Management (QM) and, if possible, released for sale again or processed in our company cafeteria.
- Special offers are made available to employees.
- Safe-to-consume goods, such as our retained samples or trade show items, are donated to local organizations like the "Tafel e.V." or the "Voedselbank."

Regional Engagement
- Social & sustainable projects for and within the Großostheim community (Donation: Future trees, Relaxation bench, XL outdoor games)
- Product sponsorship for the summer festival of the Elisabethenhof animal shelter (Association Against Animal Abuse e.V.)
- "Flipping burgers" for the players of Victoria Aschaffenburg in 2022 and 2023
- Collaboration & donation for the Nature and Bird Protection Association Großostheim 1913 e.V. (Nest box project starting in 2023)
