Our Guidelines
We maintain long-term partnerships in the out-of-home market by continuously creating added value for the foodservice industry and guests through products and innovations.
The continuous international expansion of our business and the broad customer base form the foundation for sustainable economic development.
We combine transparent and market-oriented pricing based on raw material developments with consistently high quality. Along the entire value chain, we work with partners who share our philosophy.
Innovations
A future-oriented portfolio, tailored to the evolving needs of our customers, is essential for the long-term success of Salomon FoodWorld.
A growing health awareness among younger generations and the increasing consideration of climate protection and animal welfare will lead to a significantly higher share of vegetarian and vegan diets in the long run.
Our goal: To further develop our product range – with more than 35% consisting of vegetarian, vegan, and plant-based items.

No Foodwaste
We avoid food waste wherever possible.
To avoid food waste, we regularly adjust our production to match actual demand.
Unused goods from our tastings are reused in our company restaurant.
After careful review, we support our customers in finding optimal solutions for selected items that could not be sold as planned within the best-before date.
Safe goods, such as surplus trade fair products, are given to local organizations like "Tafel e.V." or "Voedselbank" to prevent them from being destroyed.

Regional Commitment
IG Blühender Bachgau 2.0 (IG BB 2.0)
Since 2024, we have been a member of the interest group "to create blooming landscapes and promote biodiversity".
The goal of the community is to create and maintain flowering areas and raise awareness within municipalities. The focus is especially on inspiring younger citizens for nature conservation.
Salomon Summer Challenge
Every year, we set joint milestone goals in kilometers, which we achieve through various activities. Once the goal is reached, we engage regionally & socially – in 2024, the forest kindergarten in Großostheim received a donation of craft and building materials.
Collaboration & Donations
Nest box projects since 2023 for the Nature and Bird Protection Association Großostheim 1913 e.V.
Product sponsorship for the summer festival of the Elisabethenhof animal shelter (Association Against Animal Abuse e.V.).
