Where can your products be purchased?
Salomon FoodWorld products are available from authorized wholesalers and Cash & Carry markets.

Are all products frozen?
Yes, all Salomon FoodWorld products are frozen and can be prepared directly according to the recommendation without thawing them first. The only exceptions are our delicious sauces and jalapeños.
Do I always have to purchase full cartons?
The available sales unit depends on your supplying wholesaler. The quantity per bag/carton can be found on our website or on the packaging.
What does the C+C mean after some product names?
The "C+C" after some of our product names stands for "Cash & Carry," and the only difference from comparable range items is the packaging. Our FVZ C+C products are packed in printed, individually saleable foil bags. This special packaging makes them particularly attractive for Cash & Carry markets.
Can I also find Salomon products in retail grocery stores?
Salomon products are developed exclusively for the foodservice sector. Our products are sold only through specialist trade channels and are not available in retail grocery stores. This ensures a unique product experience for you and your guests.
How binding are the prices on the website?
The displayed prices are not sales prices but non-binding price recommendations. Price information is provided for guidance only.
Can I purchase Salomon FoodWorld products as a private individual?
No. Our products are exclusively intended for the foodservice sector, e.g., gastronomy or communal catering.
Which vegetarian and/or vegan products does Salomon offer?
Our range offers a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan products. In addition to vegetable-based vegetarian/vegan items, we have also developed the vegan “Green Heroes” line to match our meat bestsellers — based entirely on plant-based proteins (wheat). Feel free to use the filter function in the product overview on our website and get inspired by our vegan and vegetarian variety.
Does Salomon also offer halal products?
Salomon offers a wide portfolio of halal products. Here too, you can use the filter function in our product range section, and you can also find an overview including certifications here.
Preparation
Am I allowed to cook the burgers medium?
We sell frozen products and indicate on the label or in the product specification a preparation recommendation that ensures complete cooking, along with the instructions: "Prepare product from frozen. Consume only when thoroughly cooked."
If a user thaws the products before preparation or does not fully cook them, responsibility transfers to the respective food business operator (user), who must ensure, within their own self-control system, that a safe food product is offered. The user must define the new parameters within their own control system (HACCP), analyze them, and implement control measures.
Can the products also be prepared in standard household appliances, such as a “regular” oven?
As a foodservice specialist, we develop our products for equipment used in the out-of-home market. For all common types of equipment, you can find the preparation recommendations on the packaging or in the product specification sheet.
For preparation in standard household appliances, the basic answer is: yes.
Ingredients & Declaration
What does the OK symbol on the packaging or the website mean?
The product contains no additives that need to be indicated on the menu board or menu.
Note: Allergens are not included in this and must be declared!
Where can I find information about allergens and all ingredients (product specification)?
You can find information about ingredients and allergens directly on the product packaging or on our website, where, in the “Product Range” section, we provide a product specification sheet for each product available for download. In the specification sheet, allergens are highlighted in capital letters within the ingredient list. The allergen table also includes information on possible traces.
Storage & Product Safety
How long are the sauces good for once opened?
After opening, the sauces must be stored refrigerated (+1 to 4 °C) and consumed within a few days.
Real Burger Sauce / White BBQ Sauce / Chili Cheese Burger Sauce: 6 days refrigerated after opening.
All other sauces: refrigerated and good for up to 14 days after opening.
How long is the avocado dip good for once thawed and stored in the refrigerator?
After thawing, unopened and stored at 7 °C in the refrigerator, it is good for 3 days. After opening, stored at 7 °C in the refrigerator, it is good for 1 day. Do not refreeze after thawing.
